Moving Pictures: Henry Darger

In 1973 a reclusive janitor named Henry Darger died in obscurity. When his landlord Nathan Lerner opened his apartment, he discovered the longest manuscript ever written entitled The Story of the Vivian Girls, in What is known as the Realms of the Unreal, of the Glandeco-Angelinnian War Storm, Caused by the Child Slave Rebellion, and hundreds of drawings and paintings that illustrate the story. This is part one of the movie made about his life and art.
