Marcus Coates: Dawn Chorus

The British artist, Marcus Coates, has recorded bird songs, slowed them way down, taught people to sing/mimic the slowed down audio, then he video recorded those people singing the tracks, and then sped up the tape to mimic the original birdsong.  Final presentation is a multi-screen video installation.   It's smart, beautiful, and strange.

Link to mp3 of the original recordings before they are sped up.
